Sup everyone.. Alright I found this nice CLEAN 91 Z28 down the block where I live for sale.. the for sale sign says "4,300 obo" which means they want at least 4G's I think.. anywho, I saw the VIN and the engine code was F which means 5.0 TPI.. I look inside.. and its a 5 speed. I didnt see how many miles it had but from the looks of it, it doesnt seem to have that many.. Do you think 4g's is too much?? I'm thinking of dumpin out that old bank account and buying it this instant
oh yeah and btw, how are the 305 TPI's mated to a 5 speed performance-wise??

Test drive, test drive, test drive. Make sure the engine & trans are in good shape. Look for signs of fluid leaks and if they will do it for you, pull up the trunk carpet and look where the fuel tank is to see if they butchered the car trying to change the pump on the cheap.....Offer $3500 and go from there. While not "rare" the 5 speed TPI's are highly desireable...they have the WC (world class) T5's, which can be easily built to handle large amounts of torque.

Re: found nice 91 Z
this is one of those things when u have to check it out good, try an make a deal, then run for the hills, if everything is right then try an go a little cheaper than what they are asking just as everyone else said, just remember days thinking is days for someone else to grab it.
