01 yukon xl powerseats & stalling

the driver side power seat does not advance or go back correctly all the time with or without using the program.
began having problems with voltage surging and resulting in stalling while moving-scary when pulling out into traffic and it stalls

any suggestions? just had plugs changed, diagnostics ran, fuel filter changed, maintain vehicle regularly. orginal alternator. still under ext warranty. current mileage is 85000
