I just got a 99 explorer sport, I was wondering if there's anyway you can program the keyless entry that's on the actual door, the dealership didnt know the number for it....

also, my door locks worked when i got it, then all the sudden the passenger side door lock doesnt lock with the button, any suggestions for this???

thanks guys!

you didnt give much info, but as far as i understand, you dont know where the number is located for your keyless entry
its in teh back, open the rear door/hatch, where the jack is located, look inside there should be a sticker with 5 numbers

Yea, you need the original 5 digit code, and then you can program a new code, but the original code will always work. It is located where the jack is in the back, down the side, it should be ontop of the wheel well

Once you get the code, you can enter in a second code that is easier for you to remember if needed by entering the original code, press 1/2 twice within 5 seconds each and then enter the new 5 digit code and the locks will lock/unlock to let you know the code was accepted.
