Convert '95 Sub to '98 Vortech

I have a '95 Suburban K-1500 with 195k miles on it and the 350 is getting a little tired. I have considered rebuilding it but have some desires that have made me think about converting the setup to a Vortech engine. My wife has a K-1500 pickup with the 350 Vortech setup and I see that the change from the current TBI to the SFI would be advantageous.

I contacted one of my local wrecking yards I deal with occassionally and he has a '98 K-1500 Silverado pickup with 42K miles on it. I told him I will need the motor, the engine compartment wiring harness, and the ECM and he gave me a price that is about 50% of the cost of rebuilding my cuurent 350 TBI setup.

I know that most likely the gear ratio in the pickup is probably different than that in my Suburban so this is something I will need to have a new MEMCAL setup for. I am trying to anticipate some other issues that might come up such as air intake setup, exhaust, control of & differences in sensors as well as any differences between the wiring harness/ECM between the '95 Suburban and the '98 pickup.

Any body out there have any specific knowledge of a conversion such as this or any other websites I can visit to get more info?
