Reverse problem on '93 Intrepid
I am contemplating buying this car from a guy i've known for a while. It books out quite a bit higher then what he is asking for it. Only problem is he says that when it is cold it won't go into reverse properly. You have to let it warm up first. He said its not the tranny that its some solenoid or sending unit of some kind. I don't know anything about this. Does anyone have any advice?

Re: Reverse problem on '93 Intrepid
If it takes a while to engage in gear, that sounds like low transmission fluid. Check that and see what kind of fluid he has in there. Chrysler transmissions are very sensitive about the fluid that goes in them; if he isn't using Mopar ATF +4, he's ruining that transmission.
