GSR rims

hey guys, i just bought a set of 4 of the fat five (1995) integra GSR rims, but thr problem is the person i bought it from had it sand blasted because there were scratches or what not. So my question is what do i have to do to get that original shine back?...The rims were sand blasted so its pretty rough to the touch....should i sand it down with 2000 grit? what would the whole procedure be including buffing/polishing and what kind of coating is needed to protect the rim?

Re: GSR rims

Hmm there actually Special Edition fat fives!!!
What color were they sand blasted to. I think the best way to do it would be to grind it all off (or sand with a coarse paper, then real fine like 400grit-->1600 grit) Then have them professionally refinished.
