how much is it worth?

im looking to buy a first generation eclipse GSX.Body is in awesome condition and so is the interior.They said it needed motor work.Nobody was home and when i call i get no answer.So im not sure with exactly what is wrong,but i saw there was no battery,its been sitting there for a while,the exhaust manifold wasnt on and neither was the valve cover.Looked like a few hoses and lines might have been missing also.I dont know much about these cars,im just looking for my first car.It is a 5 speed which i love.From the information i have given so far how much should i pay?I will have more info on here as soon as i can!

any help will be much appreciated!

haha...the car has 79K for mileage,he wants 500 bucks and it needs the 3rd piston.Forget that car!

My father and i have discussed it,and the car is well worth the 500 dollars.We are just not knowledgable enough to do it,and i cannot afford it.We are still thinking of it though.:flash:
