2.3 i-4 to 3.2 v6 1984

I have a 1984 mustang 2 with a boat anchor for an engine i would like to swap it i know to change the rear differential from 7.5 to 8.5 and i think i have a 3 speed trans and that probably needs to go will an engine swap mess with the eec-iv computer>? I need some help 78676 close to san marcos. any info email live close same deal thank you.

its easier to go with a 302 or a 351W with the swap. ya any mods just about will mess with the computer. the rear end swap would be from a 7.5 to an 8.8 which i think is the best for its durability. U can swap the trans-sounds like its an auto, for a T5 which is prob the best idea. its also fairly cheap and will b more fun in the long run.

hay bro i have a 302 for sale for cheap not to far from you just a couple of miles away about 120 miles
