Would a "power booster" or "gas saver" cause.......

problems on my 87 TPI Iroc? This is the piece that goes in the air intake by MAF sensor. It is placed in the snorkel type piece in front of the plenum. It look like a turbine piece that puts the air in a circular pattern as it goes thru it.

I wasn't sure if this would cause idling problems or other issues with the performance.

You're talking about that "tornado" worthless gadget? It probably is upsetting the MAF sensors ability to function. Yank it out and see what gives. It could also by causing problems for the ECM to see airflow, be the source of your fuel in oil problem too.

Thanks for the heads up. I'll take it out. I found it there by accident. That could clear up a few things.
