97 Ford Explorer Rear Windshield wiper problem

I just bought a used 97 ford explorer. The only problem that It has is that the rear windshield wipe doesnt work. I checked the drivers side panel fuses but I cant see a bad fuse. The washer fluid pump works just no wiper. Does anyone know any suggestions that I can try?

power distribution panel under the hood. Looks like fuse 8 is for rear wiper motor. Also relays #8 and #10 in the same box are the up/down relays for the motor. Checkem out.

I had same problem on 99

I had the same problem on my 1999 and i fixed it myself very simple if its the same problem. Turn the wiper to on, go to the back put your ear right next to the wiper, if you can hear the motor (you can barely hear it its like a click) then litterally push up hard on the wiper in the direction its supposed to go, i pushed mine up about 8- 10inches and i heard a click it started wiping again works great now. I fixed my friends 98 like this too. It seems like a gear or something clicked back into place. Give it a try it worked for me. but you have to push pretty hard let me know if it works. Good luck!
