my 67 mustang

i am wondering if anyone knows some easy and maybe cheap ways to get my mustang faster. add up some hp. its a 1967 mustang coupe with a 289. any suggestions?

Nothing's really 'cheap'. If you want faster, you'll need to upgrade your Carb, intake manifold, cam, heads, exhaust, and that's just the quick easy stuff. Are you running on a two barrel? If so convert to a 4bbl. That really give you some power.

On my '66 289, I used tri-Y nickel-plated long tube headers, had a custom H-pipe made and have MAC mufflers with turndowns right before the rear axle. All for around $700! I am very happy with the outcome, although it drones quite a bit when taking off!
