1997 2500..coolant leak

i opened my hood and found coolant leaking out pretty good...the water pump is only a year old and the leak looks like its coming from the seam behind the timing chain cover ..behind the alternator somewheres in that area...what could be there??..lower freeze plug is ok ..hard to see where its coming from ..im replacing the water pump gasket tomorrow ...just to be sure ..what else can i look for??

the hose clamp to your bypass hose could've slipped off or whoever did the water pump didn't seal things up properly or the gasket slipped.
