I think I found the problem...

I think I found the problem to my hesitating 97 Jimmy..Cylinder number four was misfiring...Replaced the plug wires that were purchased at a local parts store and replaced them with AC Delco plug wires..Idle smoothed out and no longer hesitates..But I will keep you posted as I thought I had figured out the problem before..lol...Take care all and thanks for the help...

Good to hear! Though you really should replace ALL the wires as a matter of course...
