CAT C-27 twin turbo 27 litre 1650 cubic inches. 340 ft-lbs of torque per cylinder at 2,300 RPM.

how many cylinders is that? in my school we have a dyno room, and for diesel engines lab we would dyno a catapiller engine thats a 13 liter straight 6. the engines redline is 1800 but on the dyno it made 990lb ft of tq before the water started to heat up and can't hold the load.

so for a 27 liter if its a straight 6 making 340 lb ft of tq per cylinder will only be making 2X the tq of the engine from my school.

the engine you guys would dyno is a 3406... or a C18. We have ones that are six cylinder that make just as much power as that 12 cylinder.

We have versions of that 12 cylinder that make 4k HP and 16K+ ft-lbs of torque at 2k something RPM
