Turbo Charge My Show Car
Hey all...as some of you know, i'm building a show civic, it only has the d series engine in it. I was contemplating buying a b16a, but i'm wondering, i really don't want a lot of power, i mean, i'd be more than happy with 150whp, so i'm wondering, what kind of power could i expect from a turbo on my dx engine. Also, what kind of mods should i do to the car if it has slightly high km, but in good mechanical shape? PLease help me out guys, thanks a lot
Mike

1stly, you can turbocharge any car to any level w/ the right amount of fuel and ignition measures. (As well as any further mechanical tuning.)
How much mileage does your engine have on it?

my car has 200000 km on it, i don't know waht that is in miles.... like i said though, it is mechanically sound, but i do know that stuff still wears with time. How much boost is needed to get to 150-160whp, i don't image that much? what kind of upgrades would be needed to achieve that power level do you think???? thanks

with that mileage youre better of doing a swap, cause a turbo is gunna run the engine into the ground.
