I crashed, need body parts
Does anyone have a 240sx front end they want to part with for really cheap. It would be best if you lived in SoCal. Anyway, I rearended an SUV on the freeway and jacked up my bumper and hood, fenders are salvagable. If anyone has done a Silvia conversion, I am talking to you, unless you want to sell me your Silvia front end for cheap. I'm trying to save money and wouldn't fix it if I didn't mind driving a dented car, but I do. Thanks guys for taking the time to respond.

Re: I crashed, need body parts
Ive got a 92 Front Bumper and possibly the hood. But shipping would be a bitch coming from ATX.

Why possibly a hood. If they are both in good condition I want them. How much would you ask? If you can get a shipping quote that would be cool too. I think it can be done for around $100-$150. But if you don't want much money for the parts, I could do that. Let me know.

Re: I crashed, need body parts
wow that totally sucks man, i thought u crashed while pulling some drifitn moves, since you're practicing, but oh well. Anyways cant you go to a junkyard and get the parts? You never know, once i saw a complete 240 like mine, only problem was i didnt have money and already bought my fenders and paint. Either that or go to an auto body shop, befriend one of the workeres and they'll get you the parts somewaht cheap. I did that to check out how much they would get me the parts for. The guys wanted to charge $1k to fix my car!!!!!!(However these guys are pros, theve done a grip of conversions for a lot of different cars, i even saw when they were working on a s13 and gave it the strawberry face with a RHD conversion)Anywho, Im all like, hell no!!!! So when i asked for the fenders, they told me $75 a piece already primered and ready to go. But then i went to the junkyard and got both for $57 and paint for $100. Just waiting for the clouds to go away. But hope someone can help you soon pal. And what part of SoCal you live in?

I live in San Clemente, which is south O.C. The problem I keep finding with junk yards is that they want way too much money for shit. I'm going to check anyway though. It was a 4 car accident and I happened to be the last. It was just a chain reaction thing in peak morning traffic on my way to school. No damage was done to the SUV because I hit that square thing the tow hitch goes into. Nobody filed a police report so I got off only having to pay for the damage on my car. I already have a Silvia front end ready if I want it for $750 but if I can get stock stuff for $300 or less it would be much better. I'm trying to save up for racing school and I'm so close and don't need to be forking out a bunch of money.

I say possibly because my friend just doriftowned himself into a concrete post.
I could do the front bumper for 100$ plus shipping and 150$ for the hood. |
