What size tires for a Caprice?

I'm thinking of getting some 20" rims for my 94 Chevy Caprice...what size tires would best fit my car. I was searching online and it said 225/35/20 but a friend of mine said it would fit better with 245/45/20. I'd like to know from someone who had 20s or has 20s on their caprice what size tires they have.

my dad has 235/35/20's on it and they just fit, we had to beat the inner fender lip in about 1/4" so the tires would not rub
