Camber adjustment options
I need to get some camber adjustment components. I was planning on the skunk2 for the front, but have seen other cheaper knock offs on ebay. They look exactly the same, and after all it is really just a piece of metal, a plate with 4 bolts and a ball joint. Is the skunk2 name really worth a 80% mark up?
I'd like to hear about others' experiences. Also... About rear camber. Has anyone had experience with the washer trick? Is it unstable? If I went with a rear cambe kit, which is a good value for money? |

i went with the washer trick for my rear camber adjustment. The shim kit came free when i bought my front cambers. I had the alignment shop just install the washers and they did it for free. but yes it works, the only difference is that it takes the alignment shop longer to do the alignment then if u had a rear camber kit. I recommend just stick with the washers.

Re: Camber adjustment options
You get what you pay for.
If you are this board lng enough you will hear it often. IN my opinion the mark up is way worhtt the confidence I have in Skunk2's products. THere are a lot of crappy materials that ebay knokoff could be made of that will fail and kill you... or something less extreme but still really bad. DoubleTap |

I'm ordering the skunk2 front camber kit as well. Do you think I should get a rear camber kit as well? If so are the cheap ones on ebay ok. I mean if I'm spending $7.00 for the bolt/washer type thing, would it be better to just get a camber kit?

Re: Camber adjustment options
I would just get the Skunk2 for peace of mind and I would also just go with the washer trick. I have a camber kit for the rear and basically it is just a spacer.

I have had the skunk2 front kit on my teg for over 2 years and roughly 40,000 miles and it is still good as new.

Re: Camber adjustment options
Cool thanks for the input. I think I'll go with the Skunk2s up front and washers in the rear then.
