Gear Knob.

Please could someone tell me how do I remove the gearstick knob? Have tried pulling, turning, prising all to no avail. Have got a nice BMW aluminium one to fit.

Most just pull straight up. Turn the knob a little from side to side while pull up, use some force (but don't hit yourself in the head either!!!).

maybe a set screw ? ? ?
