cigar lighter isn't working...how do i fix this?

Ok, i wanna put in an xm radio and a radar dector. The only problem is, that the cigar lighter isn't working. How do i fix this?..i can't seem to find a fuse. My friend has a 99 jeep and it's the same problem. please help hah

Unless there is an accessory fuse blown, I don't know what could be wrong with the cigar lighter, but if you want to install a radar detector, or xm radio, you could hard wire it right into your electrical system. Then the lighter not working won't make a difference.

i got it to work, it was a fuse under the hood...
