what should i do, i ended up breaking the spedometer i think..

i bought some import intelligence gauges, i figured i was mechanicallyinclined enough to install them myself, besides the directions looked simple enough..
i dont know how everyone else got theres to come off easily and install the vinyl stickers, but i just messed everything up, my speedometer is out of wack, i couldnt get the face off and im afraid i messed it up, ill have to take a picture and show you guys, but the needle is now pointing at 80mph and its stuck, i couldnt figure out how to get it off so i twisted it.. ( i know.. wtf was i thinking).. well im assuming ive screwed everything up,s o im going to have a new cluster,.. does anyone know what ii can do about this screwed up gauge cluster and maybe a solution to my mess.. a price hehe=) id appreciate it

i got the first 93.5+ kit from them when they first started this stuff so im haveing trouble remebering what i did, i might make you cringe a little here we go :
first go drive it and see if the speeo needle moves , if it does then you should be ok now take the cluster back out of the car then pull the clear plastic off the cluster and pull the needle off the speedo , now put the cluster back in the car leaving the clear plastic and needles off of it leave the instrment panel surround off too , now find a freind or someone that has a newer car with a accurate speedometer and have them drive infront of you at a set speed once at that speed stick the needle on where it says that speed .
the other way to do it is if you have a 5 speed car (the way i did mine) i drove the car in 3rd gear at 35 and noted the speed, then when i was ready to put the needle back on i drove the car to the rpm that it turned to make 35mph and stuffed the needle on ...had a cop radar it and a freind drive behind me and it seems to be dead on ...
after you have done all this all you need to do is snap the clear plastic on it (dont need to pull cluster back out ) and put her back together.
hope this helps some like i say do it at your risk its been awhile since i did it so some details might be sketchy and this was done on a 1996 G20 5 speed .
now if th eneedele didnt move then you may want to contact autogator they are a nissan dismantler or if you have a 93.5 or newer give me a holler i have a spare with no faces on it i could sell ya for 45 bucks + shipping from alaska to wherever you are

hey, i never noticed the reply, i kinda gave up on asking questions on the forum for a minute.. but whatever, i figure if i need to figure it out now, ill try to do it myself and just search for answers since people cant seem to reply.. :-) thank you much though, yea i ended up fixing it, but the cable popped out recently, like the day before yesterday, so i was able to get the speedo cable to stick for a month and a half or something, its all good now though, i unscrewed it right and fixed the way it sat within the little housing that goes in teh tranny, so now everything works well, so you have 96 gauges? would those even work with my ride? i thought those were all electronic,.. its all good though, i think im getting seperate piecesto build my own custom gauge cluster, somethin outta fiberglass probably, only time will tell.. first i gotta sell my engine so i can buy a bbdet, either that or i ll just make a purchase.. who knows, thanks again though

its cool,well i dont think mine will work i noticed you said yours had a cable , and your right mine is electronic. about the replys this fourm got kinda slow for some reason , a few of the G20s went over to G20.net , somekinda big slpit we got here . im kind of a internet whore , im here ,at g20.net, and at nissan infiniti owners club ( http://www.nissaninfiniticlub.com )between those and the SER mailing list i get all the info i need .
