Keyless entry for 97 GT
We just bought a 97 GT 2dr. Is there a way to find out if this has a keyless entry system. Was that a standard for this car or just a luxury option. The person we bought it from only had the keys with no fob. So is there a way to find out if this car has that system, and if so, how do I get a fob with matching frequency.

As far as I know we all have keyless entry 97/03,and then if you have the Alarm, you will see a red led light in the center of the dash close to the windshield.You can find the FOB's on Ebay all the time.A 3 button FOB is for a GP with out the Alarm and 4 button is with Alarm.But if you cant find a 3 button FOB and 4 button will program,it will not honk.Once you get one,then you just have to program it to your car.
