Clutch Not Right

Alright guys, searched clutch problems and found a lot, just not anything on my problem. When I first start my car, a loud grinding noise comes from the tranny until I let the clutch out. For about 5 to 10 minutes after startup everytime the clutch is in the grinding starts again. Any ideas?

Bingo!

My RX-7 had those symptoms and that's exactly what the problem was. You might as well do the entire kit while you are there doing the bearing. It's only the cost of parts at that point.

Re: Clutch Not Right

I'm not really sure what to recommend? I see that you have a GS so your aren't going to be making a ton of power (Sorry, not trying to be an ass or anything). So I don't know that you will have to go all out and get the ACT 2100 or anything. Maybe just a decent kit with all the bearings, clutch, pressure plate, etc.

You might want to wait and see what others think.
