New gauge coming soon
This will be the next gauge im going to buy or for some the only gauge you will need and it also read's the DTC codes
you wouldnt need a scanner. This gauge is for OBDII car's and is going to also be released in red soon, but for now it is blue.It will be 206 bucks shipped and is plug and play !~Larry~ The Interceptor is capable of displaying the following parameters. Not all are supported be every vehicle so there is no guarantee that each individual vehicle will have every one of these available. If the vehicle is broadcasting the parameter, it WILL be available for display. * RPM * MPH * Intake Air Temperature * Mass Air Flow Sensor Frequency * Mass Air Flow Sensor (lb/min.) * Engine Coolant Temperature * Injector Pulse Width (bank 1 and 2 if supported) * Long Term Fuel Trim (bank 1 and 2 if supported) * Short Term Fuel Trim (bank 1 and 2 if supported) * O2 Sensor Voltage (bank 1 and 2 if supported) * Manifold Pressure in PSI (Boost pressure for turbo/supercharger applications) * Ignition Advance * Knock Retard * Engine Run Time * Battery Voltage * Transmission Temperature * Idle air Control Counts * Throttle Position Percentage * Throttle Position Voltage * Engine Load The Interceptor gauge has a 52mm (2 1/16") diameter and will fit in all standard gauge pods of this size. A 3.5' cable is included with appropriate OBD2 connector. An optional splitter cable is available to connect two Interceptors at one time. Accessing the function menu involves simply pushing both buttons simultaneously. From the menu you can enter a recording mode, where the Interceptor will return to normal scan mode but will start recording the displayed data automatically when the throttle exceeds 70%. Approxoximately 35-40 seconds of data will be stored. Back at the menu screen you can choose to replay the stored data on the Interceptor display. From the same menu you can also instruct the unit to display all stored trouble codes and then clear them if desired. Power is supplied to the unit by the OBD2 port, so no additional wiring is needed, simply plug-and-play! Warranty

doesn't it say in the description that it reads the trouble codes? aren't those the DTC?

Re: New gauge coming soon
Ive been needing a scaner for sometime now, plus you dont need all the other gauges, like tranny, water temp, boost which would fill up a pod very quickly.Just get the 2 gauge pod and have oil pressure and the Interceptor.

I would definetly be up for doing that. So this really is an all in one gauge. is there any reason to have more that one if you have this one? maybe if you wanted to monitor more than 2 readings i guess... |

if your go onto the images page on this gauges website and watch the video, while the numbers are changing quickly they seem to blur into one another so you cant even tell what it says. I e-mailed the guy about this and he said it was just the camera thats doing this bluring. when it comes out in red i am getting one also
