i have a 88 s-10 blazer and my fuel gauge stays at fill all the time. do you think it could be the fuel level sensor or the fuel gauge on the panel or just a fuse?

Re: fuel gauge stays at fill
take a small rubber hammer and tap on the side of the gas tank.
The sender level could be just stuck. Wait until you have put on 150miles on the tank so you know the level is down.

, lol just kidding, its most likely the floater is stuck, blazerlt gave you good directions on how to get it to come down, i would also put some gas line antifreeze in her, just in case is is frozen up top

Re: fuel gauge stays at fill
I did this thing to a friend back in high school who had a honda and was always bragging about how good his mileage was . But he did not know we were adding a gallon or two of gas to it every couple of days . When we stopped adding it he started doing all kinds of tuning , looking for something wrong cause he mileage went south real fast . Hope you have a friend treating you to free gas . Rob
