2000 Maxima SE Shift knobs/Performance upgrades ?
Hi, I'm interested in modding my max a bit.
It's a 2000 Maxima SE 5speed. I am looking into a few upgrades, some performance, but mostly cosmetic, because I dont want the value of my car to decrease when I end up selling it in 2-3 years. Can someone give me some ideas on maybe a Mesh grille, some shift knobs available for my model, and some performance mods that wont decrease the value of my car by much? Oh, I almost forgot, i'm thinking of some leather covers, what do you guys think?

i wouldn't do too much to the exterior if i were you. maybe rims. i dont even know about a mesh grille. you can do that if you want, but i persoanally just like a clean look. you should get the AE shift knob. an intake would be good, and maybe exhaust if you have the money...just dont change it much from stock if you dont want the value to go down...

yeah, as of now, here is what i have in mind. tell me if i shouldnt do any of this, if you think it might significantly decrease the value.
BLUE HID 6500K HEADLIGHTS H4 ( dot approved ) Anniv. edition door sills Anniv. edition shift knob Anniv. edition brake/clutch/accelerator pedals Mesh grille (Is this easy to take off and put stock one on when I sell it?) Leather cover - found these: http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...spagename=WDVW If I get those, is there any place that I can get leather panels? I dont want to have leather seats and cloth panels, that would look weird. Rim-wise, is there any websites that sell rims at really good prices? would you advise against searching on ebay?

the HID's would be a great decision...definitely wouldn't hurt resale, probably would help...for the AE parts, you can do the pedals and sills if you want, but i really like the AE knob, so i would get that first, and if you want the others, then you should get them also...im sure the grille isnt that hard to change...and the leather look alikes, just say no, once you get a tear or it gets out of position, you wont really be happy with it...
