Re: upgrading ecu

There are no real power benifits from any ECU modification unless you have FI or more than boltons.
But to answer your question www.hondata.com <-- that is the best way really.

Re: upgrading ecu

you could send your ecu away to get chipped... or you could buy an ecu already chipped. I would NOT buy thoes $5 do it your self chips off ebay. Not a good idea. In my own opinion.. Chipping the ecu in your case may not help all that much. Most of the chipped ecu's use a fuel dumper program that adds a lot more fuel whitch could potentially flush the cylinder walls of oil and cause pre-mature wear. Although it may bump the timing a bit and raise the rev limiter.. it may not really be worth the money. You are not going to want to rev much or any higher than your 7,000rpm anyway. I would look into getting something else. What modds do you already have?

Yea I have uberdata and have had it for close to 2 years now. But it is a little harder to get shops to tune it on the dyno for you though. But in a little time it will be as common as hondata at the shops so all will be good I supose.
