Gettin Ready to Put B18a in 91 Civic SI
I Have a B18a from a 91 integra and i am soon going to be putting It into A 91 Si Hatch. I just needed some help in what all i will need to do this Swap. As far as i know I Shouldn't have to change the wiring at all because The Si is MPFI not DPFI like Dx civics are of that year. I know i need the OBD-O Pr4 ecu. Now do i need the Distributor from the Integra Motor or can i Use the Stock SI motor? Now for the mounts Do i have to order mounts to do the swap or can i use the Stock Integra mounts in the civic because i have those too. Also the shift linkage i saw you can order it for that swap but i also heard you can shorten your own, does anyone know anything about that. I Have the Cable transmission for the integra. Please correct me if i'm wrong about anything, and also Any Help from anyone with knowledge about this swap would be great. Thanks

The 88-91 civic (4th gen) forum would be able to better help you.

Re: Gettin Ready to Put B18a in 91 Civic SI
you need mounts, if you want to use the integra motor mounts you need to relocate some of the chassis mounts which is a bitch, order hasports b series mounts and shiftlinkage. use the teg distributor
