My engine refused working while i was driving

When i was driving two days ago, suddenly my eghine died. Just like that. Lights work, everything works it just won't start. It work smoth before, never have any problems. Any ideas? Is it electric? Sometimes I couldnt turn on my low beams. I had to turn on high beams first and than switch to low. Sometimes my radio doesnt work either. So maybe Ignition switch?

When you turn the key what happens? Do you hear the starter or nothing?

does the starter click or anything or does it actually turn the engine over as if its trying to start it, or does it stay silent or what? if it turns over but wont start, then its possible that your coil went bad or maybe even the distributor cap/rotor. if it doesnt make any sound or the starter just clicks then check your battery terminals for excessive corrosion or maybe even loose contacts etc. if that doesnt seem to be the problem and you are getting plenty of power from your battery, then check and make sure all your plug wires and such are completely plugged in tightly as well as to the coil and distributor cap and such... one other very big possibility providing that your car will crank over fine but just not start might be the fuel pump died. we need some more details thought before anyone can accurately diagnose your problem. hope its nothing too serious for ya.
