Signal Lights
If anyone can help, It would be much appreciated...
With my signal's, I have a '93 Grand Am SE and whenever it is a little cold, the blinkes wont work. It makes a little noise and they just shut off.... any Ideas?? TY Im advance |

It sounds like a bad flasher relay, I would look at replacing that. It is usually located on the fuse block, but I'm not sure on the 93.

Most likely the flasher, a roundsort of grey/silver can will be found under the instrument panel to the L of the steering column bracket. It very tucked away, so get a flashlight and prepare to bend your body in unnatural positions to get under the steering column enough to look around the firewall.

Yeah, I'd still try to replace the flasher can. I may be wrong, but I think the 4-ways operate independently of the turn-signal flasher. If nothing else, a new flasher isn't much, 2-3$

One slight possible, is to replace the turn signal fuse, but I rather doubt that is the problem. Do the turn signal bulbs [outside of the car] turn on at least when you hit the turn signal lever?

Well when my blinkers work, they flash and all, But when they dont
NOTHING lights up, (outside or in) Like I said , It makes a weird little sound and , nothing!!. I bought a flasher tonight will try it in the morning!! I will let you know what happens....ok? |
