Honestly, you wanna know? Ok.

You said 'tell me what you think' and 'bof' was the first thing coming to my mind. I said this because:
- I see there no front and rear lights, no glasses, no interior
- A lot of details aren't painted (yet?)
- Two thingies coming out of the hood. I'm sure you could have cut them or bended them to be hidden . Not necessarily drill holes
- you brush painted the flaming , good try, but you could have done it with a can. Even with a basic can you find at you DIY store.
- glue marks in some areas
- ...

With a bit more of work, this model could be a lot nicer. But if you consider it as finished --> Bof (in my opinion)
If it's still in progress, tell it in your post or titel. And then we could help you to improve it.

No flaming, just explaining.

PS: let's keep it in english, even if we are both french speaking. Or PM me.

Dude, first of all it's an operational hopper so it's really hard(although not impossible)to install an interior as most of the space is taken up by the electric motors.Secondly the "things" sticking out of the hood look like part of the u-bars so it would prove difficult to keep them hidden and still get the same height of hop.

Not flaming just clearing some things up for the poor dude.

Oh and by the way i like it,not into vws but its pretty cool.

i like it but... probbily a seat with a steering wheel would do for the interior...and also..i wouldnt hop on rims like that!! with those skinny a$$ tires

Re: VW hopper

hello man,
i speak french as you,
i think what you do on this poor golf is a shame because it is a so rare kit and a so beautiful car...
the idea of a hopper is not too bad but let it so unfinished is very bad so i hope it is still under construction,
if no i am desapointed

Re: VW hopper

Hey,

Wow man, you're getting a lot of hell for this. The paint job looks really good. The hoppingness of the model is cool too. But you should have made blacekd out windows if you were going w/o the interior. I am not all that familiar with the hopping gears n shit that goes into the model, but was it possible to fit a seat and dash-steering wheel? Keep up the good work. It is your model after all. Do what pleases you.

Wow Alright were do i start...

Ok, This is a static display there is no motor no elecrtonics. The reason i did not put an interior is that this is an untimate hopper so no glass no lights (in real life Glass is not allowed during competition risk of shatering and flying into people. not fun). It is not ment to be a functional car so no interior *just hop then push onto the trailer* thats why if you look the pumps are in the center for balance.

onto the paint. I used a base coat of pewter grey from plasticoat (spray) i wanted to do domething diffrent so I made a flame stencil sprayed leftover gold. * later i noticed that the paint did not adhere to good the the gloss of the base so it gave a crackle effect witch i liked* I later passed with silver to border the flames to the gold. Really i am happy with the paintjob cuz it looks Ghetto, *the company new the car would eather be destroyed so they used Krylon instead of House of Holors*

The *things* that are coming out of the hood are the Hydros i tought it would give a good effect Look at the back of the car too you get a better picture * Jessie James did this on the "Bull hopper" also thats where i got the idea*

Thanks supaman and all the others who understand What i was goin for.

And those who dont thats fine I guess i just built something controvertial that nobody is used to see as a static display.

I am not upset i just wanted to explain to all, thank you all for the opinions it is great to hear all sorts from possitive to negative.

Please keep this up we all need the good and bad sides from people.

Any thing else i would like to hear from you

Thank you

Gauvs

This kit is not so rare i guess in europe yes it is rare but in ottawa there a dime a dozen. But i do live on the Isle of Wight (south of England) and i really do not like revell Europe its not the same thing. not as many parts so every time i go home i buy as many kits as possible.
