the Dealer
do dealers give you crap about installing intakes on your car? mine is a 2000, and it is still covered under warranty. I installed the Stillen intake today and no problems with it, so would they be fine with that? I read somewhere that dealers cannot simply void a warranty just for having an aftermarker part on your car if it does not create a problem. Any clue? So what are your experiences with dealers and aftermarket parts?

If it's warrantee work you're concerned about, don't be. The dealer can't refuse warrantee repairs unless the aftermarket stuff you installed is directly or indirectly responsible for the problem. For instance, if you have a problem with the transmission they can't blame it on aftermarket wheels or a CAI. However; if you run too lean and fry your pistons they COULD blame it on the CAI since it affects the air/fuel mixture. As long as you use high-quality, proven parts you shouldn't have a problem.
