How's the 1987 Mustang LX coming along? The last time you posted, you got it painted Blue and hadn't yet put in the engine.

Ported the heads, and really woke the engine up, but now my fuel pressure reg is crapping out.

Sometimes when I start it, the fuel pressure will peg over 100, then other times it will not move from 36lbs, even under boost. I swapped out the FMU, just incase, but it still does the same crap.

When she was running good after I got her back together, I down shifted at 50mph, and the rear wheels lite up like I was on a sheet of ice. As soon as I get the fuel sorted, I'll post some times with some drag slicks that I have, MT ETs.

The thing has a whole lot of weight to pull around. It also weighs 300 pounds more than a Viper.

3600 pounds I believe? Wasn't there a guy in here with an 03/04 cobra running 11.8s with just a K&N filter?

I don't find that to be true. I saw in a 5.0 that there's a kit by Venom for the 03 Cobra that includes: high flow mufflers, x-pipe, sports chip, cold air intake, under drive pullies, and some equal length headers. They promised a time of 11.7 in the quarter after installing this stuff from them.

more like 390 hp and 390 ft.-lbs. at 3665... it needs closer to 500 hp to get that thing rollin a little bit faster... but they do have potential... maybe this is some inspiration to you mustang lovers:

put a kb, live axle, and tires on it i could see high 10's / low 11's
