yea, kinda like he said, try preludepower. i happen to also be from preludepower, but i dont know exactly how much i can help you on this matter, but here is what i would personally think to watch out for. first of all, does it start hard or fairly easy? if it starts hard then start looking at the basic ignition parts like plugs, wires, coil, etc. if it starts easy enuf tho, then just look at what color the exhaust is... if its just white like a normal car that is still cold, then its probably fine. if you see a blue tint to it tho, then you know it burns oil. after it gets warmed up, if theres still white smoke comming out of the tailpipe, then its possible that the head gasket is leaking antifreeze into the cylenders. what motor is in that lude, do you know? i know my 3rd gen has a b21a1 in it but some 3rd gens have the b20a5 (which is a much better motor mechanically, anyway). other than that stuff... just look out for anything that looks or sounds or feels out of the ordinary or like it isnt quite right or whatever. again, if you need help with something or even just have questions about stuff with ur lude, just go to preludepower.com. peace!
