Lower Rear Control Arm $350!!!
Well i just bought new tires for my VR4 Falken GR FK-451 for $550 and i got them mounted and balance. The tires ride real nice and alot better grip from my old wore out balding tires. Well they showed me a problem i have a slightly bent left rear lower control arm. Well so i went to midas and got a quote it's $350 for one thats out rageous. I went to 3si.org but i could only find the rear upper control arms does anybody know or can give me a website were i can get a aftermarket one that is better for cheaper? It would be really nice so i can have that fixed quickly so my tires dont ware out as quick.

Did you ask at 3SI? I bet you could get a set of stock ones for cheep there from a part out thread.

yea the thing is dont you have to be a member there i tried to get a membership there once but i cant, i really need this part badly i mean i can drive with out it for now but it's gonna rear my pretty nice shoes i bought for my car faster. The guy said it's slightly bent but enough to rear it out quicker.

If you have a free email it won't work, I couldent get on there for 6 months. You have to have a non free email, I used the one my ISP gave me. I know you can get a cheep replacement there so you might want to try again with another email account.

Well there is a forum for selling stuff and there are people who buy cars with shot engines or that aren't worth much and sell the parts that are still good, you have to ask though, there aren't many people who need them so they don't advertise the fact that they have them.

hmmm so easy but so complicated, i'll try to see if i can get a membership and ask around but iam terrible at those kinds of things. But thx for the help but just in case you stumple apon one diffently put a forum or pm me. Thx alot, it was great i got to break 100 for the first time in like a month and a half because i was looking for tires. It was a nice adrenaline rush

www.car-part.com -->database of salvage yards across the country. you could find a lower rear control arm for about 50 bucks there.
