Murcielago Aggressors (crazy attack mode)
Here is some vector art mixed w/ PS.
The lambos are based on the ALMS race car (super phat and wide). Da-ang yo, I have an appreciation for computer artists. This stuff takes a long time. Oh I know the coloring is a bit plain, but I ment to do that, yup it was the look I was going for, that is what I keep telling myself. No really I am just lazy and got tired of layering. I like them, I know these are not that complicated but I have to start somewhere. If any of you have tips to make better looking anime style cars please let me know, thx I think I should do something w/ the headlights too plain I think. I need to add the look of speed to the rims since I did it to the ground, any ideas how I should do that? Thx al PS: The lambo engine is of my HotWheels 1:18 scale. ![]() ![]() ![]()

Wow. These have style! Did you do that with illustrator?
You could might take a ps-filter to make the rims look turning. |

Re: Murcielago Aggressors (crazy attack mode)
ahhh very nice Al!
In my opinion the headlights are working very well. If you had more color changes or variations in the body I would suggest giving the headlights some anime eye type treatments, but it fits very well as is. In this case I wouldn't use a blur or motion blur to add speed lines. I would use the pen tool and draw a couple semi-long tapered skinny triangles basically that flowed from top and or mid tire back. Put them on a separate layer fill with white or another light color and put that layers property mode on screen or overlay or just adjust the layer opacity to something like 35%. It will give you the lines but be like a moment froze in time. Are the lines in the body on a "selection" layer? Did you use photo reference? oh maybe add a white highlight on the headlight glass. oh!!!! and write more often. I have something coming your way today. Great job!!! -Lemorris

Here's one of Jeri's...hope she don't mind.
She added speed lines to the wheels. Your wheels being static would still maintain the anime, but move as well. You need to stop holdin out.

Yes I used a photo for ref. did the ol' vector trace w/the pen tool, BUT I also drew from looking at my hotwheels model. I drew the head lights, mirrors, and both side air inductions by looking at the model. I peeped another photo for the rims. I will do some speed lines. I will post an image of my layers (so you can see what I did Lemorris). Thx again al

Use the Elyptical Marquee tool and make a circle the same height as the tires.
Fill it in Black and then Filter > Add Noise and use about 30-35% Monochromatic, Uniform. Then use Filter > Blur > Radial Blur at about 30-35%, spin, best. Edit > Transform or Free Transform the circle to match the size and angle of the rim. Change Blending Options to Exclusin with 75% opacity....then duplicate and fit with the back wheel. Hope ya don't mind...but here's what I got with that. ![]() for the color wheels, just select the color of the rim, make a new layer above each of the radial blur layers and fill them both with the color of the wheels, then on each layer hit ctrl+g to lock them to the blur layers only. ![]() I like the gold on the black too

Re: Murcielago Aggressors (crazy attack mode)
wow these are awsome. you have inspired me! im sooo gonna try an anime car now.
I like the pink one a lot. but when it comes to a black car it's much more intimidating. so im gonna have to say the black one looks better. this may just be me, but id like to see a lil more highlight on the front end of the black car. I know black is going to hide some of the features of the car but it looks like it's hiding too much. but that could just be me.
