headlight problem

I have a 1995 Grand Am. The low beam headlights are not working. What could be the problem? I am going to try to change the bulbs. How is this done on a 95? The parking and high beams do work.

Re: headlight problem

Not too big a deal. Remove the headlight bezels, they likely a torx head, then the headlight lens. Pull the plug harness, then twist the bulb out. Try not to touch the glass part of the bulb, though, in case the bulbs are not the problem. Look at the bulbs in a good light to see if the filmanets are fried, which isn't too easy with the halogens to determine.

It sounds like both your lows went west. That is unusual, though it happens. Usually one goes.

Anyhoo, if ya have a hassle trying to get the lens out, reply back, I have a Haynes that describes the process.
