Ok I have been a memeber of this forum for awhile and active in the Chevy area.....Well I am tired of ym chevy. I am looking at buying a used 98 Dodge Ram 2500 with an 8.0L V10 engine. BUT it is 2WD. I live in PA and we do get snow and sicne I have neevr driven a doge ram in the snow with 2wd or 4wd my question is...."Is this pickup worth me buying?" I have always loved the Ram pickup and I had a bad experience with my chevy now. I am ready to move on but I don't know if I want to get a 2wd or wait and try to find a 4wd in my price range. what is everyones thoughts?

Re: Dodge Ram 2500 V10 2WD
My brother had a limited slip rear end in his Ram, said that with about 500lbs of snow in the bed he didn't have trouble unless there was more than about 7" of snow on the ground.
MPG in the V10 will probably be less than 13. If you are going to be driving a lot you may want to look for a 5.2L 4wd instead.
