1992 clutch problem

my sons truck is leaking the hydro fluid looks like from trans housing by what I have been reading sounds like the slave cylinder, can anyone give idea of cost or if this is something we can repair our selves. thanks timmyps...

Yea, you can. It is easier if you get a manual and go thru it step by step. If you hav the 2.5L four cyl. ths slave cyl. is on the left side of motor,(close to rad.) and is pretty easy to replace. The manual will explane the install process and also hoe to bleed the cyl. MAKE sure you use brake fluid, the master cyl. for the brakes and the clutch use the same fluid. And you fill the brake master cyl. which feeds both. Hope this helps. Later... Mark.
