84 Supra V8 engine swap

Does anyone have any experience swapping a small block V8 chevy and TH350 transmission in to a 1982-1984 Supra? Specifically, will the engine physically fit into the car without much modification, and what about motor mounts, exhaust, oil pan, oil filter and fuel pump. Would a Lexus V8 work better? thanks, Tracy

Keep the dumbestic parts on there side of the tracks, if you want a V8 the 1UZ would be a much better choice but there is still really no reason unless you just want to be different. The 7m/1jz/2jz will all put out more HP than you'll ever need and will keep the heritage of the Supra I6 engines.
