Re: Clutch parts

umm...yes i do have better places. there are about 500 different online stores that sell the ACT clutch or the SPEC clutch for the 3G. autozone/pepboyz/advance auto never touch my car.

the question "whats wrong with autozone, and whats your reasoning behind it?" still remains unanswered.

Re: Clutch parts

Hey man look at my sig. I bought a clutch from autozone and look....I don't know what they do with there clutches but I never worked right after getting a licensed mech to put it in. Maybe it was just a bad brand, but if I am going to spend that much money, I am going to get a good one. No need to get the half right clutch, for half the money, for half the performance, for twice the amount to fix it. I can understand money situations...but that is the choice you make when you buy a car. my opinion...

Re: Clutch parts

sorry i would have replied earlierbut i keep losing my connection. damn dial up.
but anyway I don't remember what brand it was but I remember the price being around the 250-270 range. No joke. It came as a complete setup with the pressure plate riveted on.

Re: Clutch parts

autozone installing clutches? damn, the ones back home in fla dont even have garages. i didnt even know they sold tranny clutches for that matter. brake pads, windshield wipers, alternators, and armoral. ha, i doubt anyone that works there even has a highschool degree. they can barely work the computer let alone install a clutch. thier lazyasses wont even install windshield wipers and the next to the row it says "ask about free installation."

c'mon man, its okay to buy some parts from there, but a clutch?

they sell that cheap ass American racing products b/s
