WIP: Datsun 240Z

This is the Revell 240Z.

It took about an hour to get the nose piece and rear panel plastic welded into place. This morning I decided that the car needed a bigger front lip for a more meaner look, so out came the strip styrene and the plastic weld agian.

Re: WIP: Datsun 240Z

nice, I have this kit too. Haven't tried to put the body together yet, but it seems like you had fun, lol. I like the stock looking lip. Are you putting the stock wheels on this?

Re: WIP: Datsun 240Z

If it's raining tomorrow, I'll be heading down to my LHS for some putty to fill all the seams.

Re: WIP: Datsun 240Z

I got one of those for $7 at the local Michael's, and it looks like a nice model. I'd like to shorten the front end actually: I'm not crazy about that 'stretched' look it has.
