Hey All, Just bought Hammerite Waxoyl for my civics wheel arches and underbody, does anyone know how long it lasts and is it a long term solution?

i try to do it as soon as i buy a car, i usually just check on it when i take the wheels off to work on the car, also put something a bit "thicker" along the lip of the arch as waxoyl isnt really tough enough to do that part,
