88 suburan tbi problems

This truck has been idling bad for a year now, and I've fixed the map sensor, vacume, egr vavle, and even the air filter. Nothing seems to work. Now the truck wont even start because it is copmpletely flooded whenever i drive it. What would cause this bad air fuel mixture?

Hi,
I am not sure, but think you have 2 fuel injectors in the throttle body.
Have you cleaned the throttle body?
Could an injector be leaking or have a bad spray pattern?
Take care, Eggert

Re: 88 suburan tbi problems

I had a similar problem in a different car. Turned out for me that it was the fuel pressure regulator.
