I have been told a flywheel out of a newer chevrolet (Ex. 89 Chevrolet full size pickup) would bolt right up to my motor?, Is this correct, or what do i need? The motor has wiring harness attached. I would also like to know is if anybody out there has done this motor conversion or something similar to it, if so i would appreciate some feedback on this. So far I know that I need a internal wiring harness, Painless has one I already know, but its over $400. Is there any way to find one cheaper? I am also looking for fenders for this car. I really appreciate any feedback.

You need to set your fuel system up to an electric one with proper fuel pump. I understand the tank should have baffles in it, too to keep the fuel from sloshing around and allowing your pump to suck up air. You'll need a return line, also, as well as a regulator to set up the proper pressure.
I'm not positive on the LT1 vette engines- but the LS1 vette engines have a unique oil pan and pick up and don't work for conversions to other cars. You may want to research this to be sure.
You could look into speartech or speed scene wiring. They work with LS1 and I believe LT1 engines, too. Talk to them. Some places will modify existing harnesses, while others will sell you complete new ones.
I hope this is helpful.
