I searched through the posts and noticed a few people wondering about replacing the cigarette light but I didn't see that anyone actually figured out how to do it. I know if the socket is bad I can replace that but I just want to know how to get to the back of the lighters so that I can see what's going on. Any suggestions on that?

Re: Ok did anyone figure out how to replace the cigarette ligher?
Pull the cover off that the lighter is in.

Now which cover would this be the flip up cover? I assume you have to pull the cover off that the lighter is mounted in but that is what I need help removing..........
