Keyless entry & temp control settings

The user manual says you can use the keyless entry remotes to remember the temp control settings for the driver, but it doesn't give any explanation on how it works. How does this work? Does it just recall the previous settings for the remote that was used to lock the doors?

Re: Keyless entry & temp control settings

If you look on the back of the remotes, you will see a "1" and a "2". These correspond to each driver, and the receiver in the truck (BCM and LGM) know which is which. If you have memory seats, you will have a 1 and 2 button on the driver door pod, which sets all the personalization for each person. It remembers the seat, rearview mirrors, heater control, and radio presets for each driver.
