low coolant warning light
I own a 2001 Taurus SEL, it has 42k (+/-). The "low coolant" warning light keep poping up every time we drive it. Coolant level is fine, is there anything I can check or do before I'm force to take it to the dealer and pay them for something I could possibly do? My wife is the primary driver and is driving her crazy. Thanks for any help

Re: low coolant warning light
Sounds like the sensor in the resorvoir is hanging up or is cracked and full of coolant.

If you just want to get rid of the light you can dissconnect the sensor (it's located under the coolant reservoir). If you want it fixed, you will need to replace the entire reservoir. Common problem and you can't buy just the sensor at the dealer.
