3.4 GTP timing

I had my vehicle vandalised by someone dropping a piece of metal down one of my overhead cams and now I have torn my whole engine apart. My timing belt snapped in the process so I have purchased a new one. What I am wondering is what is the quickest way of timing the 3.4. Do i have to take off the fuel injection to get a look at the rear overhead cam so I can find top-dead-center or is there an easier way. Please help me on this one because I just purchased a new car and want to save the money of bringing it into the shop. Thanks.
