Removed air-intake, it`s down further!!

Ok removed air-intake for 2002/3.8 fuel-injection and the coolant leak is more apparent lower, between heads and valve cover?? Things a little different than my ol`350 CSB. I need to remove fuel injectors then continue. Any help would really come in handy. My service manual hasn`t come yet, and I think it only goes to 2000. Not sure how much the manual may be lacking. Thanks To All, Happy Wrenching. Yeah Right, I smacked my hand pulling off a plug wire, OUCH!!!

Can u see it leaking??

U sure its not leaking by the tstat housing down onto the heads??

Removing the fuel injector is easy.

First relieve any pressure in the fuel system.
* remove gas cap
* remove small black cap on front fuel rail and depress
shrader vavle.
Second, remove nuts that hold the fuel rail down.
* one on top of the supercharger
* 2 on front fuel rail
* 2 on back rail
After all the nuts are off all you do is simply pull up. The injectors are just held in w/ orings.

The mailman just delivered my 97-00 Garnd Prix, Chilton repair manual, it`s all so much clearer. my rail matches the 3.1/3.4 motor. Tthanks for the reply. Can`t say everythngs going to be easy but at least I`ll know when to pry and not. Thanks Again and "keep the grease off the kitchen light switch!!" Something I hear daily

After depressurizing fuel system, I recommend disconnecting the lines to the rails with a $6.00 tool from your local parts house before removing the rails. Reason being, if you kink the plastic lines leading to the rail while setting it out of the way, you will have to replace them. From what I hear that is not an easy task. They cover them in the ribbed protector sleeve but the lines inside are Plastic and they kink easily! Just my 2c.

Something didn`t work right here. Anyway, my fuel line are metallic, would that require the same tool? and what`s it called? I always like buying tools, and this being the ol`lady`s car she can`t say nothing!!!
Can`t I just disconnect it at the pressure regulator, then the return line side? Thanks for Input.

Yours may be different than mine. I have the 3.1. The lines on mine are metal back to where they disconnect next to the throttle body/master cylinder area. The fuel lines are plastic with metal ends up to this connection. The tool is called a GM/Ford fuel line tool and on mine the sizes are 5/16 and 3/8 I believe. I just bought a universal one at Harbor freight for like 6 bucks. There are nicer ones out there but for the once a year I might need it I couldn't see the price. The universal one looks like an X shape that pivots in the middle to form 4 sizes. Your lines may be different, though.
